Char Dharm Yatra
Char Dharm described as Badarinath in the North Puri in the East Rameswaram in the South and Dwaraka in the West of India by Jagadguru Adi Sankaracharya and Pilgrimage to the said our Pilgrim Places covered all over India. But in general Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badarinath being treated as Char Dham and the FourPilgrim Places centralized in Himalayan Range which is kept open for 6 months in a year and will be closed for the remaining 6 months since the temples will be covered with heavy snow during the winter season and there will be no ingress and egress to these temples in that period.
There might be hurdles of traffic due to falling of stones from the hillocks on the roads during the rainy season. The Government of Uttarakhand in consultation with the temple committees announce the opening and closing dates of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badarinath which are in general called CHAR DHAM in Himalayan Range.
